Manchester City Away In NYC: the video

Earlier today, we showed you the official pictures of the new Manchester City away kit, which the club will be sporting throughout the forthcoming 2010/2011 season. The club launched the shirt with a quick kickabout against some local footballers during their trip to New York – you can imagine their surprise when a team full of stars turned up and challenged them to a match!

Here’s a great video highlighting some of the action from the game, which featured City players Joe Hart, Emmanuel Adebayor, Micah Richards, Dedryck Boyata, Shaun Wright-Phillips, Wayne Bridge and Kolo Touré taking part in this one-off game. It showcases the new away kit, in dark navy blue with a flash of sky blue, tailored to City’s specifications, superbly:
