Adidas Away Kits for the 2010 World Cup and SER opinion on Nike vs Adidas

It is a very busy time in the kit industry right now as new kits are being released continuously. This past week, Spain, France, Germany, South Africa, Greece and Mexico have released and played in their new Adidas Away Kits.

Environmentally Adidas have fallen behind Nike as Adidas have not considered any green ways of producing their kits. In design terms we at SER believe that Adidas may have the edge on creativity as the Nike kits all seem to look the same just with different graphics. Adidas however have many different templates that they use for the National teams.

With Home and Away Jerseys we believe that Adidas have the edge as well. If you look at Nike’s Home and Away kits for each National team most of them are exactly the same design just different color. If you look at Adidas’ Home and Away kits for each of their National teams most of them are different. We believe that fans prefer two different designs for Home and Away kits because it is more exciting and not as boring.

We still have not been able to test either Adidas or Nike 2010 World Cup kits yet for performance, but keep posted to SER as we are hoping to get a review out to you very soon.

Upcoming SER in depth Reviews: England Away Kit, Total 90 Laser III, Umbro Stealth Pro, Puma Powercat.
