New Adidas F50 Adizero for the 2010 World Cup

Adidas is finally in the process of releasing their brand new cleat called the Adidas F50 Adizero which will finally be their response to the Nike Mercurial Vapor Line.

When released, the new F50 Adizero’s will be the lightest boots in the world! The official weight of the cleats will be a stunning 5.8 ounces, making it a full ounce lighter then the Mercurial Vapor Superfly. The F50 Adizero’s are hollowcore constructed cleats and thermobonded to reduce weight and increase durability. The thermobond technology is also used in Adidas’ Jabulani, the new World Cup ball for 2010. Adidas have scraped their Tunit technology which has been the main feature in almost all of the previous F50 versions. However, they will still feature trademarks from the past F50 lines like, Sprint Skin, Sprint Frame and Traxion.

The release date has not been 100% confirmed by Adidas but they should be released by the 15th of May, 2010 in multiple colorways.
