Joe Cole is Back!
Joe Cole was wearing the Nike Tiempo Legend III in Black/White/Volt as he starred in Chelsea’s 5-0 victory over Blackburn Rovers in the Premiership on Saturday (October 24th).
Cole who has been a Nike Tiempo Legend wearer for many years was starting his first Chelsea match since last January and the 10 month absence meant that this was his first start under new boss Carlo Ancelotti.“I was impressed with Joe because I know very well how hard he has worked in the last month,” added Ancelotti. “He is a great professional and after ten months it is not easy for Joe to play like he did. It was a surprise and I am happy for him. Joe is a very important player for us. He has fantastic quality in midfield. He is a genius.”
Teammate Frank Lampard who scored two goals in the victory also heaped praise on Cole.”He is different class,” Lampard told ESPN. “I think everyone knows what Coley brings us, he is something different, he runs with the ball and he can create something out of nothing.”
Cole himself was pleased with his performance.”When you’re out for ten months just getting back on the training pitch is great so to come back to a game like that was fantastic. I’m just so happy to be playing.”
