What SER knew three months ago, the rest of the world now knows. Adidas, in an effort to stick with Nike, have had a massive release of their newest cleat, the F50 i.

Unveiled on May 27th in Rome and the Champions League Finale, by Argentinian superstar Messi, the latest Adidas cleats have had a massive impact on the news of soccer cleats. The latest and last edition of the successful Adidas Tunit collection, the i is incorporating and combining all its predecessors into one packed boot. The cleat will be released to the public July 9th, with new colorways rolling in off the designer pads after the summer, and will be selling for $194.99 USD. There are two types of the Adidas F50 i, the Full Grain Leather version and the Synthetic Leather (Sprintskin) edition.

The cleat had the best possible debut, with Lionel Messi sealing the victory with a perfectly placed header, crowning Barcelona as European Champions.

Now, Adidas is surrounding the cleat with hype and causing a frenzy among soccer fanatics, with its ‘Every Team Needs a Spark Campaign’. The ads feature Zinedine Zidane, and his effort to retell the tale and myth of Lionel Messi.
