Umbro’s New England Kit: SER Revealed
What’s supposed to be kept underwraps as the most exclusive kit launch ever, the SER team has an idea of what the new England home kit will look like.
After a number of humiliating defeats, which kept England from even qualifying for the European Championships, the Majesty’s Team will be looking to bounce back under Fabio Capello’s reign, at the World Cup 2010 South Africa. The underachieving side will be wearing new jerseys soon, hoping to help them on their way to redemption. Umbro and the FA were trying to keep any leaked images or info about the new kit concealed until its launch date,when England host Slovakia for a friendly, however the diligent people here at SER still have a good idea what the new national side kit will look like.
The design looks extremely simple, and although it’s not visible in the photo, the kit is all-white, including the shorts, shirt, and socks, with a retro collar finishing off the classic look. They may be hoping that this retro look will give them the luck it gave the 1966 World Cup winning side.
Only time will tell if this England side can go on and duplicate their one world triumph in this new kit, so watch England’s friendly vs Slovakia on the weekend and see their new kit!
