Nike Mercurial Blade
After one of the most successful cleat launches in soccer history, with the revolutionary Superfly, the team at Nike weren’t content with only reshaping the soccer cleat market. They decided to revolutionize their shinguards as well.
The SER team has recently heard that their new shinguards will be named the Mercurial Blade. The Blade is part of the recently released Mercurial range, which includes the successful Superfly, as well as the Mercurial Vapor V. The latest shinpads will be endorsed and worn by stars like Cristiano Ronaldo, Aaron Lennon, and other agile soccer players. This new shinguard will be made of pure carbon fiber, making it possibly one of the lightest and strongest pair of shinguards on the market.
Spec:
Made up of an ultra-thin carbon fiber composite shell, the Blade is designed to withstand any tackles, as welol as getting you to the ball faster.
A Dual Layer Eva and Poron Foam disperses energy upon impact, preventing the wearer from serious injuries.
Laser etching on the back of the shinguard channels away moisture and allows a more secure and comfortable fit to the players needs.
An anatomical left/right design is engineered and tested to fit the contour of the leg giving a more natural fit and shape to the player’s shin.
As always, the Blade comes in a pocketed DriFit sleeve, which insures maximum breatability, and keeps the guards in place.
The shinguards also come in their own protective case, pushing the soccer market’s boundaries to never before seen professionalism.
